About Us
Our
Story
ANZ-GRIN was founded in 2020 by Prof Chris Del Mar AM and Prof Paul Glasziou AO and is coordinated by Dr Mina Bakhit, and involves researchers and clinicians from most Australian states and New Zealand.

The 1st ANZ-GRIN meeting was held online/face-to-face on the 31st of July 2020 at the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare, at Bond University. More than 30 researchers attended the meeting representing 14 institutions.
Since then, ANZ-GRIN had an additional two online meetings: March and September 2021.
Our aims are to foster research, evaluation, and training.
A national collaboration will enable us to:

-
Learn about each other’s research in reducing antibiotic use in primary care.
-
Minimise duplications and overlaps, and increase collaboration.
-
Support a national network that can continue long-term the work on minimising antibiotic use in primary care.
